A group of adolescent Elven militia cadets from New Sylestia on a seemingly routine training exercise in Highvale. A puzzling power play involving a young Human heiress and her pending marriage to a young man that could unite a kindred in the region. An ancient teacher from Cordysia's distant past...and a novice archer's unexpected but necessary undercover mission, playing the part of someone who by appearances is essentially her identical twin!
Unroll the scrolls of Cordysian lore once again, and listen to the tale, as told by Libryll Shazemne, of heroes and villains from centuries before, and how happenstance can become the stuff of legends. As it is with folktales of any realm, how much is true Cordysian history, and how much is the elaboration and spin of a good storyteller? You'll have to decide for yourself as you learn more about The Viscountess and the Valeguard!
