She survived the crash. That was the first mistake.
After a devastating car accident and a "routine" surgery that goes terribly wrong, Jackee Maren wakes to a nightmare worse than death. Trapped inside her own body, she is fully conscious but completely paralyzed, and able to communicate only by blinking.
Then the horror escalates.
The crash was no accident. Someone wanted Jackee dead, and they may still be trying to finish the job.
As suspicion tightens around her distant husband, her caregivers, and those surrounding her, Jackee discovers a terrifying new ability, she hears the thoughts of others. Silent, helpless, and underestimated, she begins a deadly psychological game to uncover the truth.
But using her power further weakens her body. Time is running out.
She has mere months to live. Months to save her sons. An emotionally charged, high-concept thriller about betrayal, survival, and a mother who refuses to surrender, even when her body already has.
"This electrifying, emotionally devastating thriller genuinely grips until the final page. Highly recommended."—The International Review of Books
