Embark on an extraordinary odyssey through the annals of Irish time and place—this is "Under A Burren Moon," a poetic anthology that echoes the whispers and roars of an island steeped in lore, love, and lament.
Capturing the mystical essence of the Emerald Isle, this collection sweeps across epochs and landscapes—from the enigmatic Tuatha Dé Danann to the valiant Cú Chulainn, from the artistic marvels of the Book of Kells to the advent of Viking and Norman settlers, and from the soul-crushing Great Famine to the intricate fabric of modern Irish life.
But "Under the Burren Moon" is more than an anthology—it's a heartfelt tribute to the indomitable spirit of the Irish people. Through painstaking historical research and artistic creativity, these verses aim to be as textured and diverse as Ireland itself. Each poem is a window into a world where magic and reality coexist, where sorrow meets hope, and where every stone, river, and gust of wind has a story to tell.
If you are an ardent admirer of Irish culture, of poetic expression, or of history brought vividly to life, then this collection is for you. Hear the eternal, the tragic, and the beautiful resonate in each word, as they do in the hills and hollows of Ireland.
