Elise Montgomery has sleeping beauty syndrome or as her doctors politely informed her three years ago Kleine Levin Syndrome which is another medical way of saying that her life is cursed—Grimm's fairy tale cursed.
She now literally has the ability to sleep her life away with eight hour days and sixteen hour nights.
Time can pass quickly and the seasons seem to change like the minutes of a clock.
The illness is interfering with both her personal and professional life. Dating is definitely not in her scope of things to do. She cannot risk it.
Elise is desperately trying to fix her life—put things back in order when E. R. trauma surgeon, Lee Anderson, steps into her world of chaotic dreams and brief sunlight.
He meets Elise and for him it is love at first sight.
He is enchanted by her dark charm and mysterious ways.
Elise is the real sleeping beauty in this medical tale, but is Lee Anderson her rogue prince?
Can he help her to set aside her inhibitions—her fears? Is he the man to steal her heart with a single kiss?
