Acerca de este título

A struggling Brooklyn artist is haunted by the ghost of Jean-Michel Basquiat — and the only way to save his own future is to recover Basquiat’s stolen past.

With his first solo exhibition on the line and eviction notices looming, a 37-year-old painter teeters on the edge of collapse. He’s drowning in debt, eating ramen by the packet, and staring down a wall of untouched canvases. Then, in a haze of insomnia and subway rides, Basquiat himself appears — sharp-tongued, restless, and demanding. Together, they embark on a feverish hunt across New York City to reclaim lost paintings and fractured legacies.

But the deeper he dives into Basquiat’s unfinished business, the more his own reality begins to crack. Mirrors shatter, dust swirls, and chance encounters blur the line between survival and self-destruction. In the end, he’ll have to decide: is this about resurrecting a legend or saving himself from disappearing completely?

Raw, lyrical, and darkly funny, Untitled: Love Letter to New York City is part ghost story, part artist’s confession, and part love letter to a city that devours and defines those who dare to call it home.
