P.G. Wodehouse
Eleven sparkling stories from comic master P.G. Wodehouse, of hapless young clubman Bertie Wooster and his unflappable manservant Jeeves, who is always urbanely ready to rescue the young master and his friends from the soup. In which: censorious Aunt Agatha's loathly offspring Thos exacts a classic revenge upon a cabinet minister; the future of deserving Aunt Dahlia's peerless French cook Anatole hangs upon the love of several Hollywood starlets; old friend Sippy is in the soup with his former headmaster, and Bingo Little's domestic happiness is imperilled by his wife's old school chum; Bobbie Wickham blithely scatters chaos on all sides; and Bertie pursues a prank vendetta against young Tuppy Glossop, wayward suitor of Bertie's cousin Angela, and nephew of that old Wooster nemesis, the fearsome 'nerve specialist' Sir Roderick Glossop...
