Great writing but unfortunately Toxic story

The writing and narrator performance was perfect, characters well built but story fall flat for me. Very very very Toxic characters way too over romanticized to the point of cringe. This happens all the time when authors write dark themes and don't develop well to "redemption arc". I'm sad to see this type of "romance" so over hyped.
