It is the year 1896 and time is being ripped apart along with the very fabric of space, as portals into the past open and close around the world. Young Elizabeth Swanson must determine if the scientific experiments of her late parents are responsible for what is transpiring. If it is not stopped, the Earth will be destroyed and, like the proverbial stack of falling dominoes, so, too, will the cosmos. Now, aboard her fantastic Skyship Odyssey, and with only her mother's journal to guide her, she must lead her small band across the unexplored regions of central Africa and into a dimension both incredibly wondrous and inherently evil.
In the timeless tradition of Jules Verne and H.G. Wells, comes the riveting tale of one who must overcome her past in effort of saving our future. Honor, nobility, and most importantly, love will all be tried and tested in the face of an impending war - a war sounded by the relentless beating of drums.
