He sneers when self-proclaimed prophets “reveal” details about the second coming to which even Jesus wasn’t privy on earth. And he laughs fiendishly when Christians split churches and quarrel over elaborate timetables of the end of days.
These theological fights keep Christians distracted so we fail to prepare properly for Christ’s glorious appearing. We often devote so much attention to the chronological details, we forget the many beliefs Christians share in common about Christ’s return.
