Shailah Edmonds
Starting from the most unlikely, humble, tumultuous beginnings, Shailah Edmonds left her native Portland, Oregon in pursuit of her dream of being a movie star. Fate instead led her into a modeling career, which after several rejections in America, she blindly went to Europe where she achieved resounding success.
After ascending to the most rarefied realm of the modeling profession "Couture" and traveling the globe to serve as a muse to the world's most legendary fashion designers, her story is a testament to the power of faith and fate, of courage, love, persistence, and endurance. She tells her story with humor, and jaw dropping escapades that will keep you engaged for the entire story. Toward the end, she also includes information and the requirements to enter the modeling business.
Her life is an example to all young women, not only models, daring to reach out for a better life, to let them know that perseverance pays!
Everyone can benefit from her life lessons of perseverance, spirituality, confidence, and endurance. Surviving hair raising occurrences, Shailah's journey is an admiration of her strength as she crosses the globe with grace and beauty. An explicit account of 1980s fashion history!
