This edition is missing 24 minutes.

I thought the edition that's part of the "Extended Catalog" had some kind of long intro to make up for the difference in length, since both have the same narrators.

Well, right at the beginning of the story's climax (50 minutes before the book ends), the current chapter is cut off and you're brought 24 minutes into the future.

Keep this in mind when picking your edition:

- Bad edition with cropped audio: 9 hours 34 minutes
- "Extended Catalog" edition: 9 hours 58 minutes

So if you really want to get the whole story, you'd have to pay for the one in the "Extended Catalog".

Based on what I could listen to:

I wouldn't pay to learn what happened during the last few chapters.

There's a bit of mystery at the beginning, and characters are given some depth that doesn't evolve not is used too much to support the narrative. The main character's motivations and personality bounces all over to meet the storyline, instead of it adapting to the hero with whom you're trying to "uncover the truth".
