She stayed at Vogue for 17 years, only leaving in 1987 to join Ralph Lauren for 2 years, before setting up an independent bridal fashion house under her own name. She has designed dresses for Ivanka Trump, Chelsea Clinton, Mariah Carey, Michelle Obama and many more.
