 In his next voice memo, M seems crazier than ever, recounting the weird history of the Mojave desert, connecting everything from Satanic literature to the Jet Propulsion Lab to chemtrail conspiracies. Then Lola arrives and tells Jen that she had a lot to drink at the bar - something she has no recollection of - and asks if she wants to go with her to meet the Sonarians and "hear the sounds". Jen goes with them at dawn, hiking out into the desert toward a huge crater. When they get there, Jen attempts to record into her phone and suddenly her phone is forcefully taken away - and so the recording stops.
