In the 1980s in Azamgarh district, a young boy named Kabir is deeply upset after losing his mother. He finds comfort in spending time with his father and their beloved goats. However, when he sees one of their goats being killed, he becomes very distressed. His strong request to stop selling the goats leads him on a scary path as an adult, where he ends up doing the same ruthless killings, haunted by memories of his own past.

After his father passes away, young Kabir is looked after by Usman Bhai. He finds comfort and a sense of belonging with Aahil Abbas Kha, Usman’s energetic son. When Rafiq's troubled behavior causes him to leave the country, Kabir, who now works in Usman’s butcher shop, faces his first experience dealing with blood. This brings out a mix of strong feelings and confusion for Kabir.

As he gets older and more experienced, Kabir does well in growing Usman's business, with help from his faithful friend Bharat Bushan. When he turns 18, he opens a soup shop where Bhai's old tea shop used to be. Despite facing challenges, he gains a lot of loyal customers. However, without realizing it, his shop catches the attention of criminals who turn it into a secret place to store weapons.
