This world is no friend to grace. God has given us some resources, however. As we grow in character qualities like hope, patience, repentance and joy, we ill grow in our ability to persevere. The biblical passages in these studies offer encouragement to continue in the path Christ has set forth for us.

Raising kids and building families is tough these days. We live in a broken society that celebrates sin and minimizes family relationships. Is it possible for Christian parents in today's society to raise emotionally healthy kids who love God and are equipped to do God's will for their lives? Yes. Emphatically, yes. God has entrusted you, as a parent, to care for and raise your children for him, and he has given you the resources you need for the job.

This is a treatment of the concepts of law, gospel and the classic three uses of the law, together with their application to the crucial question of the appropriateness of legislating a Christian agenda in a pluralistic society.

Many Christians today feel overwhelmed as they try to live faithfully in a culture that seems increasingly hostile to their beliefs. George was unable to fill the spiritual void inside of him, until one day, he discovered his inner "Light". Next came the godly visions. George began to preach about the "true" Word of God, and soon, amassed a following - the Religious Society of Friends, later known as the "Quakers".

In 1902, Mary Baker Eddy gave her annual communion message to members of her church. With the title, “The Old and the New Commandment,” she addresses the topics: “God as Love;” “Love one another;” and “Godlikeness.”

In 1900, Mary Baker Eddy offered this timeless message to members of her growing First Church of Christ, Scientist. In it, she encourages right thinking, right acting, and right working, along with unselfishness, charity, receptivity, and obedience to God.

In 1898, Mary Baker Eddy, founder of the First Church of Christ, Scientist, delivered a sermon on the subject, “Not Pantheism, but Christian Science,” which is now published in this book format. In it, she explains the vast differences between scientific Christianity and pantheism.

Mary Baker Eddy's "Message to The Mother Church for 1901" offers insight into the nature of God’s infinitude; Christ; the pastor of the Church of Christ, Scientist; medicine; and other topics relevant to the practice of Christian Science today.

This sermon, given by Mary Baker Eddy, is based on Jesus’ statement: “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover” (The Gospel of Mark, chapter 16).

This two-part book was compiled and edited by Mary Baker Eddy, the church’s founder. Part I (“The First Church of Christ, Scientist”) describes the building of The Mother Church Extension in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1906. Writings by Mary Baker Eddy and newspaper articles from across North America detail this significant architectural achievement and the rapid growth of Christian Science as a movement.

Between 1883-1896, Mary Baker Eddy wrote many articles, letters, and poems to support and encourage the growing membership of the Christian Science church she founded. Many were first published in The Christian Science Journal. Mary Baker Eddy published them as this separate book, Miscellaneous Writings. She suspended all Christian Science teaching for one year, urging the study of this book in its place.

This edition of A Course in Miracles is referred to as the "Original Edition" and is the course as it was completed in 1972; this was before there were significant edits in 1975.
