Malintzin was the indigenous woman who translated for Hernando Cortes in his dealings with the Aztec emperor Moctezuma in the days of 1519 to 1521. The Spanish called her doña Marina, and she has become known to posterity as La Malinche. As Malinche, she has long been regarded as a traitor to her people, a dangerously sexy, scheming woman who gave Cortes whatever he wanted out of her own self-interest. The life of the real woman, however, was much more complicated.

While I am pro-life, I still believe in a woman's right to make her own decision about her body, even if I don't agree with those choices. How can anyone in their right minds, can tell a woman, that if she is raped by a man, she has no choice in the matter. The question I would love to ask those who are supporting this crazy idea, would you want this for your wife, daughter, or sister?

Meanwhile, narratives about women in business overlook decision making or offer advice that is unhelpful and can even backfire. How Women Decide fills this gap.
