The Librarian and his friends are looking to send a message, and Cleave TV's reach is unmatched. All he has to do is win a race through what’s left of Cleveland where he’ll encounter the dreaded war bison, brutal ballerinas, post-apocalyptic hockey players, a circus full of killers and more.

The post-apocalyptic world isn't that bad. Sure, there are mutants. But, for the people of New Hope, daily life isn't so much a struggle of finding food or medicine as it is trying to find a new shortstop for their kickball team. This makes it difficult for a post-apocalyptic warrior to find work. Thankfully, an army full of killers is making its way to the peaceful town and plans to raze it to the ground. Only a fully trained post-apocalyptic nomadic warrior can stop them.

Willie and Coy like money and they are after The Librarian to collect the price on his head. Hawk and his gang of wasteland raiders are after Willie and Coy for a breach of contact. In the powerful city of Alasis, a movement is growing and the people consider The Librarian a hero. Lord Invictus wants the movement stopped and has sent the fearsome and mysterious Skinners to finish what Mr. Christopher started.

While Columbia, Missouri, was spared a direct strike, a near-miss EMP fried most of the vehicles and the electrical grid. Then the corporations started a shooting war in the streets, and they didn’t care who got caught in the crossfire. But Columbia was one of the last cities still standing.

The stainless steel people marched by the chain-link fence. Their electronic eyes looked up to the sun. Their sculpted jaws, strong and square. Behind them streamed a banner. A metal heart shines brightest. Young One watches the metal people proudly marching back to Tekna Magnus. They give meaning to her simple existence on an apple farm. If she could be just like the metal people, she too would bring joy and hope to others. But after jumping the protective chain-link fence, the world is not what she first believed. A virus has infected the world, slowly rotting the body.
