The discovery of a dead body is nothing new for Detective Simon Grave, but when the body and the murderer are both invisible, well, that's another matter entirely, even in the futuristic town of Crab Cove. Chief among these is Masaka, who appears to be an Oriental girl in her twenties but may be something entirely else. She has an unsettling way of appearing and disappearing without notice, and bringing particularly odd cases to his attention. Cases he would rather do without. First, he had to prevent the summoning of a demon.
