Kimberly Crowe, a highly esteemed figure in her field, made a triumphant return for the third consecutive year with an event of unparalleled magnitude, leaving an indelible mark on International Women's Day. This annual celebration, known as IWD 2023, served as a resounding tribute to the awe-inspiring endeavors of women and girls worldwide, who have tirelessly worked to shape the future.

Born during the Civil War into a slaveholding family that included Black, White, and Cherokee forebears, Adella Hunt Logan dedicated herself to advancing political and educational opportunities for the African American community. She taught at Alabama's Tuskegee Institute but also joined the segregated woman suffrage movement, passing for White in order to fight for the rights of people of color. Her determination - as a wife, mother, scholar, and activist - to challenge the draconian restraints of race and gender generated conflicts that precipitated her tragic demise. 

Three friends, women in their fifties, set out to hike "the most beautiful long-distance trail in the world," the John Muir Trail. From the outset, their adventure is complicated by self-inflicted accidents and ferocious weather, then enriched when they "adopt" a young hiker abandoned by her partner along the trail.

In a world where too many women stay quiet, the Voices of Women Summit became a global movement to change that. Hosted by international inspirational speaker Kimberly Crowe, the 2026 Voices of Women Summit brought together 207 women from around the world for a powerful live virtual event held on International Women’s Day — officially earning a world record for the “Most Women Speaking at a Virtual Event in 12 Hours.”

Mary Brave Bird grew up fatherless in a one-room cabin, without running water or electricity, on the Rosebud Indian Reservation in South Dakota. Rebelling against the aimless drinking, punishing missionary school, narrow strictures for women, and violence and hopeless of reservation life, she joined the new movement of tribal pride sweeping Native American communities in the '60s and '70s.
