Gauri's father died a few years ago. Now her uncle and aunt taunt her and also mentally torture her. After some time, Gauri is sent to an orphanage by her uncle and aunt. At the orphanage, Mr. Bansal hands Gauri an envelope. This envelope was from Gauri's mother. There was a letter in the envelope. Her mother had written this letter before her death. She wants Gauri to go to Mumbai and fulfill her dream of becoming a fashion designer. Her father's college friend Rama Shankar Pratap Singh takes the responsibility of taking care of Gauri.
