After saving the Arcadian Confederate from certain destruction, Kevin's consciousness is cast back to Earth. Victory is sweet, but life on Earth is boring. It doesn't take long for him to start missing his galaxy-trotting adventures. But you should be careful what you wish for: when a Kregan operative bent on revenge shows up to hunt Kevin down, everything starts to unravel. The galaxy's in grave danger, and it looks like Kevin's the only one who can save it. Not to worry! The Arcadians have sent their best engineer...who happens to be a talking cat with a less than ideal attitude.

As a reward for saving Princess Kalliopy, Kevin ends up in the hands of pirates, who have nefarious plans for his future. Things look bleak, and his options are few. Meanwhile, Boomer is mad at the princess for delivering Kevin to the enemy, and when an old foe comes into the picture, he has no other choice but to team up with her to mount a mission to rescue Kevin. Kevin is forced to do horrible deeds while he bides his time hoping to escape his predicament. His friends are determined to get him out of Dodge, but the rescue mission is more complicated than it first appears.

Before she can rescue her town, however, Josette must maneuver her way through the nest of overstuffed vipers that make up Garnia's military and royal leaders in order to drum up support.

Captain Mort and the crew of the Nebula Nomad have spent years navigating the perilous skies, hunted by the ruthless syndicate that controls the floating cities and skyports. Their livelihood? Harvesting cloud vapor to sell on the black market, outmaneuvering enemies, and always staying one step ahead of those who want them dead.
