The man couldn't help himself. His captor was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. Her powerful eyes held his attention and made him forget that she had him confined in a basement, his hands and feet bound with duct tape. She fed him when he was hungry and kept him alive for the telling of her horrific tale. Jack has survived high school by staying quiet, staying low, and staying invisible, especially around Greg, the golden boy who’s always been too close for comfort. So when Greg pulls him into the shadows at prom and something almost happens, Jack dares to believe this night might change everything. Then the music shifts, the crowd turns feral, and the world tears itself apart. Now, with secrets clawing their way under his skin, Jack has to figure out what he’s becoming and whether he can hold on long enough to survive it.
