Noch in der gleichen Nacht postet sie die ersten Fotos in den sozialen Medien – am darauffolgenden Nachmittag wird sie tot in ihrem Bungalow in der Weißen Düne aufgefunden. Torge Trulsen gehört wieder zu den Ersten am Tatort und fühlt sich persönlich betroffen, weil er Ella bereits im Sommer begegnet war und sie eine Reportage über ihn plante.
