Not all monsters are created equal. Cane was supposed to be out of sight. His most important asset has always been his anonymity, spanning back to his days as an assassin for the US government. But when he finds a cassette player taped to the bumper of his vehicle, he realizes someone not only knows what car he drives, but the routes he takes, as well as what’s most important to him. He’s compelled to listen to the message on the tape, but deep-down, he knows that once he does, his life will never be the same again.

What do two alien races, planet Earth, memory lost, secret organizations, angels, magic, demons, space flight, spirits and the hope of all mankind have in common? His name is D`ae but on Earth he is known as Kirk Alexander Doyle. Sent to Earth on a secret mission to save Earth from within D`ae is captured and his memory is wiped.

There is a starship in trouble, lost in the void, with no one awake to hear the alarms. A thousand specially selected people left a troubled and unsustainable Earth for another world. Their dream was a new start on a virgin planet 30 years away.
