Il 10 dicembre 1948 l'Assemblea Generale delle Nazioni Unite approvò e proclamò la Dichiarazione Universale dei Diritti Umani, il cui testo integrale ascolterete qui di seguito. Dopo questa solenne deliberazione, l'Assemblea delle Nazioni Unite diede istruzioni al Segretario Generale di provvedere a diffondere questa Dichiarazione in tutto il mondo.
