A metaphorical tale of the cycle of life. It is hoped that this story might help some young people deal with the grief of losing a loved family member or pet and with the challenges of growing up. The story is not meant to be religious but spiritual so that it can be shared with young people regardless of religious belief.

Curing The Midas Touch is a collection of poems taken chronologically from one of Smiley’s journals written between August 2011 – February 2013. His poetry brings to light a moment in his spiritual journey when after being filled with pride, he began to see his hopes, visions, and dreams begin to fail. Curing The Midas Touch reflects the process of God refining Smiley in fire so that he could embrace failure and learn from it.

Then, travel with them to the bayous of South Louisiana and Lake Pontchartrain where his tribe must flee to escape a terrible famine.

This adaptation of Charles Dickens's beloved novella, A Christmas Carol, attempts to convey this wonderful story of a covetous old sinner's redemption into a two hour long performance. In its narration, some slight liberties have been taken to make accessible obscure words and references that some modern listeners may find challenging. The retained dialogues and dialects are those of Charles Dickens and remain faithful to his writing.
