These words, as part of the introduction of the book, set the specific context and overall challenge and purpose for this book. Here, wisdom is likened to a lady riding on the train of civilization past prominence in a social, political, and spiritual direction. But the book argues in recent times, she has been forced to ride in the back of the train. Now we live in a vast field of folly. How do we find our way out?

Mixtus-Americans: A Different Brand of Christianity Where We Still Practice Griot continues the challenges of healing, institutionally and nationally, from the result of faith divided by racism and perceived superiority. These views were first expressed in my book called Mixtus-Americans: Salvation from Oppressive Sin.

Public Hostage, Public Ransom starts with the autobiographical story of William Bronston, the activist physician whose early professional California training steels him with a deep moral, professional, and cultural bond to the huge 6,000-person disabled population he encounters incarcerated in Willowbrook State School in Staten Island, NY, on whose behalf he daily battles to humanize and ultimately catalyze a federal class action lawsuit against the state to close the death-making institution.

Valle Egypt is a case study that affords listeners the opportunity to better understand the serious consequences of financial elder abuse while providing an increased awareness of how to mitigate this escalating problem. Using a personal family story as a vehicle, the author presents a preparatory tool kit, which includes components such as fiduciary duty, mental capacity, legal trusts, and estate planning. The story presents a legal case, calling attention to the mental capacity of an aged parent, undue influence by children, and breach of fiduciary duty by the trustees.

Cyprus gained independence in 1960 without a strong national identity. Citizens considered themselves Greeks or Turks, not Cypriots. Ethnic pride, reinforced by proximity to both countries, inflamed the majority of the population, and was encouraged by the historic rivalry between the two homelands. While examining the nation-state as an institution, I discovered a mechanism I now call transnational nationalism. Analysis of the Cypriot crisis of 1974 gives further insight into cultural politics in lands such as Northern Ireland, Lebanon, Palestine, and Bosnia-Herzegovina.

The Biblical History of the Liberal, and of Conservatism came about through some discussion of the 2016 campaigns and the ways and means of the various parties in their attempt to be the winner in 2016. There was a noted difference in the way of those leaning to the leftward end of the political spectrum and of those leaning to the right side. There was quite a bit said regarding these two main ways, and the idea came across to make note of those observations. How far back did we go in our discussions? A ways, and in a general way, we went back to biblical times.

Having experienced some business events, my opinion of the financial and legal profession totally deteriorated. This caused me to study constitutional law, starting with the Magna Court of England, the United States Constitution, the Canadian Constitution and Bill of Rights, and lastly the Alberta Rules of Court. I had the notion that my personal character might be lacking, so I listed all the laws of the scriptures since "sin is the transgression of the law".

Listeners should evaluate the politicians and parties they support by putting them against the Christian yardstick.
