The gang’s back for a very special summer at the Hills: the camp’s fiftieth anniversary! Wiener is especially excited to be back. His little brother, Max, is finally coming to camp, and Wiener can’t wait to show him the ropes (and show him what a cool big brother he is). Unfortunately, it doesn’t take Max long to realize that Wiener isn’t exactly the Camp Legend he made himself out to be. Meanwhile, inspired by a big change at home, Missi is determined to be 100 percent true to herself—no more pretending to like Hollywood heartthrobs just to fit in!

School's out, and the Daredevils are excited to spend all summer tearing up the track. The coaches have something special planned: The Austin league is heading to Dallas for a week of roller derby sleepaway camp! Tomoko has been camping with her uncle every summer since she can remember. She’s got all the gear and the skills she needs for summertime in the great outdoors. But roller derby camp isn’t in the great outdoors. It’s in the middle of the city. And it means meeting a bunch of new kids, which isn’t exactly a strength for shy, introverted Tomoko.

Cheryl loves horses. She’s been studying thoroughbreds at her family’s horse racing stables since she was old enough to ride on the shoulders of her father, a famous horse trainer. Cheryl wants to be a jockey. One problem—she is a girl, and there has never been a Black female jockey in history! Jetolara is a young thoroughbred finding his place in the herd. When Cheryl literally falls onto his back, and Jeto sprints off across the pasture, Cheryl discovers that she doesn’t just want to be a jockey, she is a jockey—and she and Jeto were born to race. 

Trendsetter is a horse destined to fly—in more ways than one. Sarah is a horse-loving seventh grader who has a secret and a fear of losing the one thing she loves most in the world. Separated by an ocean, a horse and a girl’s parallel struggles to be their best include lots of luck and grit, some stubbornness, and a few failures. It is only when they find each other that the two kindred spirits find themselves. Together they learn that what’s important in life isn’t greatness—it’s being great at being you. 

Best friends Kenzie “Kenzilla” Ellington and Shelly “Bomb Shell” Baum are counting down the days to their roller derby debut. It looks like their dream is coming true when Austin’s city league announces a junior league. But there’s a catch. To try out together, the Dynamic Duo will have to form a team of five players … in just one week! As they start convincing other girls that roller derby is the coolest thing on wheels, Kenzie has second thoughts. Why is Shelly acting like everyone’s best friend? Isn’t she supposed to be Kenzie’s best friend?

There’s only one thing Melman loves more than soccer: her summers at Camp Rolling Hills. So she’s pumped to be back—until she realizes that her bunkmates have gone totally boy-crazy over the school year and want to plaster their cabin in pink. Pink posters, pink T-shirts … it seems the only not-pink thing in the cabin is Melman herself. That is, until she’s given a dare in front of the entire camp: wear a pink princess dress. For Three. Whole. Days.

Now she’s an overworked, underpaid ref at Slamdown Town, the local arena. Finally, it's summer! Stephanie—aka Slimey—has been counting the days until she can return to her favorite place in the entire world, Camp Rolling Hills. And this year she's especially happy to be back—she'll have eight blissful weeks away from home, where life has been decidedly rocky. New kid Bobby, on the other hand, is pretty sure he's in for the worst summer of his life. He does not understand his weirdo cabinmates, the group singing, and the unfortunate nicknames. But he does understand Slimey, and the two soon fall in crush. This summer might not be so bad after all!

Now part of the official junior roller derby league, the Derby Daredevils are ready to compete in their first tournament. Kenzie starts writing new game plays. Bree works on her speed. Tomoko sharpens her blocking skills. And Jules fearlessly hip checks everyone in sight. But Shelly isn’t sure what she’s best at. In hopes of taking home the tournament’s Star Skater award, Shelly transforms doodles from her sketchbook into extra-special gear for the Daredevils. But not everything works as well as Shelly imagined, and she can’t get the team on board. 

OLLIE AND TAMIKO saved Slamdown Town, and wrestling is popular again! The rise in popularity draws two newbies to the ring: the Krackle Kiddos, Linton Krackle’s son and daughter. They may be puny middle schoolers, but they’re somehow unbeatable. Something’s fishy about Linton’s kids … and it’s not just the prize krackle fish on display at Krackle Manor. Soon the son and daughter of the Slamdown Town CEO are changing the arena into something it’s not. This identical duo is up to no good, and no one—not even The Referee or Werewrestler—can stop them.

Summer’s almost over, which means one thing and one thing only: It's Color War time! Color War is the event of the summer, a massive camp-wide competition that divides the campers into two teams: Blue and White. All of the upper campers are hoping they'll be selected as Lieutenant, a team leader position and a huge honor. Jenny's convinced she's got Lieutenant in the bag, being a "Popular Girl" and all. And Play Dough sure hopes he does, too—members of his family have been White-team Lieutenants for generations, and he doesn't want to disappoint them.

Cincinnati, Ohio, lives and dies by college basketball, with two elite Division I rivals separated by a mere three miles. Rory’s dad just secured a new coaching gig at the University of Cincinnati, so it means yet another school and move for her, only this time to her dad’s hometown. Rory’s life revolves around basketball; she’s never had a close friend outside of it. Could this be a chance for a fresh start?

Young Maya is shy and often feels fragile and scared because of her asthma, except when she's in the water—it's the one place where she feels strong. While everyone else in her town is scared of "the Beast," the giant wave heard all around the world as it crashes into the shoreline, Maya finds the noise comforting, the curves of the wave soothing. If she could only tame it, then everyone could see all the beauty it has to offer. With a pink surfboard and a determined heart, Maya will be the first girl to meet the Beast head-on.

A long weekend with lots of snow sounds like a recipe for super-special fun to Nina, especially with new friends Priya and Nayan visiting. They’ve just moved to Wisconsin from Florida, so Nina is prepared to introduce them to lots of winter activities: snowball fights, snow angels—and maybe even a snow fort! And then Nina notices a strange car at her neighbors’ house while they’re out of town. Clearly, it’s time to be a Snow Spy and identify MP (Mystery Person).

Kelton Fielding has always felt out of place, never sure what to say to his peers who, truth be told, only tolerate him. When a snowmobile race is announced at McCall’s annual Winter Festival, Kelton sees his chance to impress his classmates. He’ll fix up his old sled and get it running, and he’s planned out a risky shortcut through the wilderness that he’s sure will win him the prize. But when the popular Swann Siddiq and Kelton’s nemesis follow him into the backcountry, Kelton quickly runs into trouble and realizes that the competition is the least of his worries.

Can he find the words for his nature poem - and the courage to help his family survive the night?
