Wilhelm Canaris est un amiral allemand, responsable de l'Abwehr, le service de renseignement de l'armée allemande, de janvier 1935 à février 1944. Il s'est clandestinement opposé aux menées nazies alors qu'il était en poste. Guy Burgess était un membre du Secret Intelligence Service recruté comme agent par les services soviétiques.
