This is a literary composition composed for those who feel like nobody's listening. For my comrades, my mom and my dad, and my two sisters who showed me what it means to be different. For the drug addicts that fiend but still dream of better conditions, huddled with puddles on pillows with Brillos and pipes, not bathed or slept in days, high as a kite. For the single parents that struggle working doubles, taxing their muscles so their children can comfortably cuddle and sleep at night.

The Spirit-filled life is a lifelong adventure into the depths of God's Love. Jesus is the Baptizer with the Holy Spirit, desiring to inundate everyone who comes to Him with Living Water from His Well, which never runs dry. He is waiting at the Well for anyone who will come, just as He waited when he met the Samaritan woman at Jacob's Well many years ago here on Earth. He said to her, "Whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life."

Yes, the title is misspelled on purpose. Jesus told parables-stories of different aspects of God-to help humans understand our Father. I think that our brains would blow up if we tried to take in EVERYTHING that is God. But we don't farm, work, or live the same way as they did then. So you will find in this book imperfect images of different aspects of God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and sometimes, the melancholy cry of a soul.

In late 1994 and early 1995 the world as I knew it came crashing down on top of me. I had a negative life threating event rip through my known universe. My reality was no more, my memories were lost and I constantly courted suicide I saw things that I had no understanding of and heard things that I couldn't grasp. My sleep was full of monsters that chased me and my wakening was full of things that threatened me.

Postpandemic America. A youth mental health crisis the likes of which we have never known. The dark night of suicide. School failure. Unable to move out and get a job. Young people isolated from their families and dependent on social media and video games for peer socialization. Parents unable to find support for their teens to twentysomethings as they face their own life challenges of aging parents, faltering health, unemployment, financial strain, and social disconnection.

This collection came about while sitting outside, and the poems were inspired by James's brain, which often runs amok. The book contains items from cowboys to clothespins. One poem was inspired by the love of Western movies. It is amazing how once the brain begins to rhyme, themes just seem to come together in poetic form. Memories, past experiences, common objects, and random thoughts have all come together to produce the compilation of poems included in this book.

This work of art is a dedication of what I have gone through in life, from my military experience to returning to civilian life and restoring a normal life. Even though you have your brothers and sisters in green, they don't replace what you have at home. The experiences are a total shock no matter how many times you are deployed and think that you are used to it. PTSD is an aftereffect, and a lot of people, including family, is affected unknowingly. Only time, perseverance, and the undaunted care, affection, and understanding of your loved ones and friends can help in the situation at hand.

My Castle Wall was written from the perspective of going from victim to survivor of sexual abuse. Within the book are people who taught me and took away my dignity and true self. Poems and short writings guide the listener through the trauma and drama of my life, unfolded as a victim, and how I was rescued through therapy to regain my identity as a survivor.

We wake up and sip our morning cup. Appearances mean nothing because we are always hiding something. In this book (come take a look), you'll find the darkness in your mind is real. So to whom do you appeal?

It shares my beliefs that poetry is the purest form of communication, and it examines the influence of spirituality in our lives. In these tumultuous times of pervasiveness and evilness that encompass mankind, I truly believe that spirituality is the saving grace for mankind's existence.

"What the enemy meant for my hard, God used as propulsion to accelerate me to a future. That I could not even imagine." This book is a testament to the trials of one who was gifted with dreams of prophecy and how our enemy tried his best to kill, steal, and destroy one person from early childhood through even now. Yet the Creator of all that was created rescued me, even from myself. He justifies me, avenges me, protects me, and prospers me through His promises by the blood of Jesus.

Our life was supposed to be adorable and unique which turned into a dream of sorrow. Trying to build the perfect family, just so she could destroy it all. Uncertainty breeds fear, and we certainly live in uncertain times. Look around you--threats of violence and death, financial instability, natural disasters, pandemics, cancel culture, and war headline every news story and dominate nearly every conversation. The devil would have you trembling at all you could lose. My creation is about people's emotions during a relationship and possible outcomes. Despite our various backgrounds, we have an intriguing commonality--romantic relationships. Sharing smiles and cries with a partner on an intimate level is a familiar societal structure. This bond can be initiated with a stare, a laugh, or a simple conversation. Then it can evolve in the workplace, gym, nightclub, worshipping center, etc. Nobody truly wants to be alone.
