With the help of the mutants, Panur and Lila, Adam and his team are the last hope for the galaxy. Can the genius of the mutants and the "attitude" of Adam Cain save the day? Now they launch a multi-prong attack to stop the Klin, with only minutes to spare before Armageddon.

The war with the Sol-Kor within their home galaxy has finally begun, spearheaded by the revenge-seeking Hal'ic, whose massive fleet of warships is commanded by none other than Admiral Andy Tobias. In the meantime, Adam Cain and his gang are stranded on Kor, trying to survive the battering the planet is taking at the hands of the Hal'ic. But soon they'll find their way to Silana, the second capital of the Sol-Kor, where Queen J'nae has taken Panur, along with the prototype trans-dimensional starship the Star Panther. The very survival of the universe is at stake.

Adam Cain has pursued his nemesis Nigel McCarthy to the Milky Way's sister galaxy - The Large Magellanic Cloud - using the revolutionary technology of the concentrated-array gravity-drive. Adam's latest mission is to rescue Arieel Bol, an important religious figure from the planet Formil, who just happens to have supernatural powers, or so it seems. And to top that, she's also is the most beautiful alien in the galaxy. Yet when a 30-million-credit bounty is placed on their heads, Adam and Arieel will have to use all of their combined "powers" to survive.

The ancient Aris helped created nearly all advanced life in the galaxy. But they weren't alone. Now the long lost Children of the Aris have resurfaced, freed from their Quantum prison. And now, they're on a mission to reconstitute their race, supplanting all other life in the Milky Way. And to that end they need the mysterious Formation device. To get it, they've kidnapped the super mutants, Panur and Lila. Little do they know, Panur is no longer immortal and he will surely die if Adam Cain and his friends can't find him and Adam's daughter, Lila, in time.

Adam did what he had to do to save his friend Tidus, but in doing so, his secret leaked out. Instead of being known simply as The Human, he's been exposed as the famous Adam Cain, the person who died and was brought back to life by the mutants Panur and Lila. And now the knowledge has found its way to a mysterious secret sect of immortality worshippers who want Adam's secret for their own. And they'll do anything to get it . . . even if they have to kill Adam Cain in the process.

Adam Cain: Bounty Hunter, Mercenary, Bodyguard. In his line of work, Adam makes a lot of enemies. The problem: Enemies have long memories. And when someone comes after Adam seeking revenge for his past deeds, things get a little dicey. The problem for Adam's enemies: They're going up against The Human. And because of that, Adam has only one question for them: "Do you feel lucky? Well, do you, punk?" That's right. Adam isn't your ordinary target, and now it's a game of back and forth between the hunter and the hunted, with the roles changing in rapid-fire succession.

But for some reason, he'd taken the former Third-Generation Human John Martinez under his wing and was now determined to show him what the real Human race was all about. As a 3G, Martinez had been raised by the Klin to believe a completely false narrative about his native race. But having never been to Earth—and after only a few tragic encounters with other Humans—what was Martinez to believe?

Xander Moore is the senior pilot at the Rapid Defense Center, the clearinghouse for America's defensive drone force. Although only in his mid-thirties, Xander is the "old man" at the Center, as other pilots are barely out of high school. But these kids, as gamers most of their lives, are skilled at remote drone operation and combat tactics.

Eleven years ago, Army Ranger Jason King lost his job when the aliens came to Earth and outlawed war among nations. Now he makes a fairly decent living as the top real estate broker on the planet Sylox, the capital of the Galactic Union. His clients are primarily Humans coming to the planet to work at the huge Embassy Complex, and they find Earth-like housing—along with a little taste of home—in the sprawling Enclaves of Sylox.

With the question lingering what happened to the evil Mad Aris Kracion, Adam and his team are preparing to follow the clues to an answer. But first, Adam takes a quick detour to help a stranded Summer, Monty, and Tidus get off the planet Sasin, the most dangerous place in the galaxy. It's a no big deal mission which quickly devolves into the beginning of the greatest challenge for Adam and his team. Both Adam and Summer are going through strange and not so subtle changes; Adam from the mind meld he did with the super mutant Panur, and Summer from her contact with the Essence of J'nae. 

Human! A name that strikes terror in the hearts of the galaxy. Well, maybe not terror. More like caution, actually. Since you know how hot-headed Humans can be. After the galaxy was attacked by invaders, the Milky Way was left but a shadow of its former self. In its wake, a savage, almost Wild West existence emerged, ruled by gun and muscle. Every crisis has its beginning. For Adam Cain, his greatest challenge began in The Lost Universe and continued through The Immortal War. Now his nemesis, Kracion, is the Destroyer of Worlds, blazing a trail of death and destruction across the galaxy on his way to total domination. Opposing him are the mutants Panur and Lila, who use Adam and his team as blocking pieces in their desperate game against the Mad Aris. That may be an effective strategy, but it can prove deadly for Adam and his friends.
