Before we start listening to the main content of this audiobook, I want to read two scriptures. The first one is from 2 Timothy Chapter 3 and I am going to read a few verses from there.

I really pray that the Scriptures we are about to read will not only help us to understand that God uses young people, but to help us to change the policies we implement. Paul says we should know no man after the flesh, though we used to know Christ that way we do so no longer. Everyone must be willing to know young people by the spirit; speak to them by the spirit, and create the atmosphere that allows them to function by the spirit of God.

In Isaiah chapter 53 verse 3 Jesus our Lord is described as despised and rejected, a man of sorrow and acquainted with grief. In Matthew chapter 14 the Bible says that when Jesus heard what happened - as in what happened to John the Baptist (was beheaded) he withdrew privately to a solitary place.

If all I am to do is to get saved and have a wonderful relationship with Jesus Christ, which includes spending eternity with him in heaven, why don't I just die immediately I get saved? The answer is that God expects you to become a disciple and then become a disciple making disciple. In other words, God's agenda is that you become a disciple maker!
