With resources flowing out of the Vitri annex of the Green Empire, the damage done in former High Admiral Duon's domain starts to be rebuilt at an accelerated rate, but the small fleet Aatroxiss has to work with isn't ready to tackle the advanced ships of the Hand of Independence in large scale warfare. But when two disobedient Captains create an incident, it threatens to wreck the stable balance between the Yellow Empire and the Green Empire in the minds of the Imperial population, and Aatroxiss will be forced to enter the Separatist War far sooner than planned.

Beginning his 2000+ year life as a teenage founder of the Star Force military, Paul-024 has been on the front lines throughout the growth of Earth's planetary defense force from inception through both the Skarron and lizard wars. Then when the V'kit'no'sat returned and began annihilating Earth's interstellar empire starting with its capitol, Paul was there fighting a stalling retreat while Star Force evacuated as many people as possible, losing system after system as they were pushed further out into the galactic rim.

Changes with the Uriti alter the dynamics of the war against the V'kit'no'sat...and send shockwaves from the galactic rim to Itaru.

Follow a core group of characters known as the Trailblazers as they use alien technology and knowledge discovered in Antarctic ruins to obtain limited immortality and lead humanity out into the galaxy, encountering, befriending, and fighting hundreds of alien races, all the while desperately trying to prepare Earth for the unbeatable threat at the core of the Milky Way that is destined to return and reclaim their lost colony... and their former human slaves.

With their advanced training underway in Atlantis, Paul and his teammates are sent on a "field trip" to space for zero-G and high gravity training, during which they get to see and experience the wonders of the space corporation's orbital infrastructure and economy first hand.

With the demise of the Gangi Dynasty, galactic politics are fracturing. The Emperor is restructuring his efforts to unite the people around his singular rule while the opposition looks for alternative options. Many of those are turning to the Green Empire and Grand Admiral Aatroxiss's new seat of power on Prime, but behind the buzz between these two polar opposites another hand is at work...and about to reveal itself to the galaxy in dramatic fashion.

When his old Spymaster reappears to help Aatroxiss in his struggles against the Frontier invasions and, ultimately, against the Empire itself, information becomes the most important factor as the number of alien invasions backed by Imperial warships increases dramatically. With too few ships to adequately defend every star system, it's a matter of coming to the rescue too late and hoping to catch and destroy the invading fleets before they can attack again.

With the Jaegers blunted and switching tactics, a new reality sets in for the Milky Way. Constant defense with no hope of ending the war, only surviving perpetual attacks by an enemy from other galaxies. The trailblazers know this story well, from the original Alamo. Now they have to figure out how to break the deadlock, John Wayne style.

The Jaegers are pushing deep into Star Force territory on an exploratory mission, bypassing the V'kit'no'sat Grand Border. The only question is, how far will they get before the might of the Empire whittles down their planet-sized Baseship to the point where they can destroy it.

The invasion of the Milky Way has begun, and the Empire is winning easily, but when it becomes clear that the war with the Asferja will be nowhere near ending before the next invasion arrives and forces them to split their focus, Paul is tapped to lead a small team to the nearby galaxy of Andromeda where the Asferja intergalactic "threads" are tethered, with more being created as the war goes on.

Paul-024 is back and ready to let the other trailblazers in on the journey they are all beginning...if they can keep from blacking out long enough for him to explain it all.

Paul and Sara must find their way out of Gamma Temple, but they're not going to leave empty-handed.
