Bobby and Susan's parents were going out to a fancy restaurant for their 25th wedding anniversary and probably wouldn't be back until midnight. Just before they left the house they told Bobby and Susan, "Under no circumstances are you to answer the door for anyone. Is that understood?" Bobby replied, "Sure thing, Mom." Their parents closed the door and headed to their dinner date. Bobby said to Susan, "Mom sure does worry about our safety a lot, and besides were not dead yet."

We all know if you hear a knock on your door you're supposed to ask who it is or look through your peephole before you turn the doorknob to let who or whatever it is inside. Somehow the people in a little town called Spiritsville were in for an evil surprise. Tom and Cathy Matthewson never got along with anyone in the town because their beliefs were not of what the town stood for.

The little town of Decksburg wasn't a happening place. It was rather boring with only one gas station, one church, one bank, and a population of 100. It's no wonder a couple rowdy friends named Bubba and Hector had this brilliant idea of spicing things up in this town. These two guys had very little education, but that didn't stop these two from dreaming.

Delbert Thompson lived all by himself on a farm deep in the country and never bothered anyone until a group of teen's car broke down about a half mile down the road from Delbert's farm. The teens were only looking to use Delbert's phone to get help, but Delbert was in no mood for company, so the teens picked the wrong door to knock on for help. Delbert was sitting in his rocking chair on his front porch whittling a piece of wood when he stopped what he was doing and noticed a group of people headed his way.

It is said that when we die we return back to dust from which we came. This is where the story begins. Sir Jacob Edwards was a King and the most evil man you would ever meet in your life. He loved to hear his prisoners bones snap into as they whaled and screamed in agony in his dungeon of horrors. As the saying goes what goes around, comes around. That is exactly what happened to Sir Jacob Edwards.

As the baby got older, and was sent out in the cruel world to school, and having a name as Demon, this would only backlash on his parents, and everyone that teased, and called him names. Resentment for his parents was at an all-time high that when he became a teenager all the anger and frustration that he bottled up inside was going to be unleashed at a hellish level. For the coldness that his parent’s bestowed upon him he was going to make his parents or anyone that stood in his way pay.

Meg was happy to finally have the chance her other sisters didn't: She was going to college. Meg's sisters helped her move into her new dorm. Her sisters were introduced to her roommate, Samantha. Meg and Samantha got along really well and helped each other in their studies. Samantha needed the most help with her homework because she liked to party, while Meg always had her head in the textbooks. Midterms were just around the corner, but a big party was being held at a good friend of Samantha's house and - of course - Samantha wasn't going to miss the party over a midterm exam.

Bill and Karen Stevens were so excited to get to spend a weekend away from their children. Bill was the top salesman of his company that year and was awarded a weekend trip to any four-star hotel of his choice, compliments of the company he works for. Bill and Karen packed their belongings and said goodbye to their children and headed to the airport, to their destination. The plane finally landed and they were ready for a fun-filled weekend without their kids. Bill and Karen held hands as they approached the front desk of the beautiful four-star hotel....

Brian, Susan, and Tim liked to get together on Friday the 13th and play the Dare game in a cemetery that dated back to the 19th century in the woods behind Tim's house. But, when they got together on this coming Friday the 13th, their game was about to take a fatal turn for them all.

It was Halloween again, October 31st, just like all the Halloweens before it. But this Halloween would change the world forever. The Devil decided to go against God's wishes of only having enough power to deceive our way of being able to choose between good and evil. The Devil said "Halloween Night is the only night of the year that my powers are the strongest." As the darkness set in and the trick-or-treaters headed out of their homes to get candy, the Devil entered every trick-or-treater's mind using mental telepathy.

Molly's parent's had all they could take from their daughter screaming in the night and saying to them that they were coming to get her soul. When Molly's parents came to check on her every night, she became more violent and would curse and spit on them and her voice was that of a demons. Molly's father Jack decided it might be a good idea to call a priest to see if she was possessed.

Jack and Brenda Stevens found the perfect home to start a new family, but were unaware of the home's past. Being a young couple with two children and big dreams, they couldn't care less if the house had a past or not. The only thing on their mind was raising a family in this beautiful Victorian home. The house had a strange odor, but they just thought it was because the house was old. Jack's wife, Brenda, thought once they moved in and did some renovations, the odor would diminish. She was dead wrong. This was one odor that wouldn't be leaving even if the place burnt to the ground.

Jim Harrington just inherited his uncle's mansion, located in the country, on an isolated road, with 1,000 acres of mostly wooded land. The closest neighbor was about two miles down the old gravel road from the farm. The mansion was pretty run down and needed a lot of work to make it livable again. Since Jim was a handy man, this was right up his alley. Jim never knew the real reason his uncle died. The lawyer told Jim at the reading of the will that he died of a heart attack. So Jim didn't question it, and just signed the papers, ready to take on this big responsibility ahead of him.

Deep in the woods on top of a desolated hilltop stood the most haunted cemetery ever known, called Haunted Hills Cemetery. Legend has it that in 1855, a man by the name of Jester Flats was the new Sheriff in town. One thing the townspeople had no idea about was when Jester Flats was appointed the new Sheriff in the town of Deadsville. The Sheriff had his own idea of how he wanted to bring law and order in the town of Deadsville. His way would be by way of an axe. He was the most feared Sheriff the town has ever known.

Bill Stein and his wife Mary had just recently moved back to Germany on Bill's parent's farm due to their passing. Little did Bill and his wife know that the lake on his parent's farm contained a small army of Nazi soldier's that met their fate during World War II on the farm, and that their final resting place was at the bottom of the lake Bill's father never told his son about the dead Nazi soldiers in his lake because he didn't want him to have nightmares, but days after moving into his parent's farm Bill noticed a green foam on the surface of the lake.

There's this old dirt road they say is the road to Hell, where many brave souls have ventured down after midnight, only to find once they've traveled to a certain point it turns into devil's fork and there's no turning back. The road I'm talking about is Long Hollow Pike Road. This road dates back to the mid-1700s, when a family that dealt in the occult conjured up something evil that didn't want to be disturbed. From that day forward Long Hollow Pike Road has been cursed.
