He made it into the bay, where the naval battle with the Spanish South Pacific Squadron began in the wee hours of May 1, 1898.

Celtic mythology is widely considered to be among the most captivating of Europe's various mythologies due to the presence of a number of captivating aspects, including but not limited to: adventure, heroism, romance, and magic. The Celts were once a great people who dominated most of Europe, but, as a result of Roman invasions, they have since been reduced to a few minor groupings. Their mythology, on the other hand, was preserved largely as a result of the efforts of later monks from Ireland and Wales who wrote down the stories.

While the age of the mythical, ethereal musician fades with each new generation, Johnny Cash resided in American culture for more than 40 years as a folk legend. Steeped in the gospel, his tale always had the qualities of prophecy and retribution. Some remember Cash as a slack-jawed ballad master who took on issues like civil rights, sovereignty, and social justice.
