This short work attempts to explain how I write using the "pantser method" to craft stories and books. I've done my best to sum it up in terms that are easy to understand. I've also included some basic writing methods that have helped me write and a technique to help you self-edit.

A group of men pool their money to purchase a lot of cocaine to sell in their neighborhood. After a shaky start coming up with the cash, the man who came up with the idea begins to play a game with the profits that upsets Victor, his largest contributor. When promised payouts don't begin to show up, things begin to get a bit testy, leading one man to begin to seek other ways to get his money back. One by one, Victor seeks his revenge against the rest of the group. Slowly the gang's membership dwindles until there is only one more to find.

Verwayne Greenhoe starts this story at one of the lowest points of his life. He explains how to handle similar situations. Touching on subjects such as depression, grief, suicide, and anxiety for his experiences as a paramedic and an ER nurse, the author attempts to guide the listener into the calmer waters of life using situations that he has experienced. Quotes about grief and other topics are scattered throughout the story to help the listener understand that their feelings are not unique.

Depression is almost a national disease and, by and large, it is an affliction suffered in silence. Our world moves at breakneck speed and the first time that many "close friends" ever discover that their loved one, neighbor, or spouse is depressed is when that person "acts out" in an act of violence to others or an act of violence toward themselves in the form of suicide. This book will help you recognize some of the warning signs.
