FBI agent Jeannie Loomis returns in her 10th thriller novel. A flawed but strong and dedicated female FBI agent, Jeannie Loomis believes that the ends justify the means. She and her team are working with the A.T.F. (Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms) after a rollercoaster at an amusement park in California is bombed.

Agent Jeannie Loomis and her partner are called to the scene of a double homicide. The victims were tortured before their deaths. Loomis realizes that the suspects were seeking information about the location of Hitler’s gold train, a phantom train hidden in a mountain range in Austria by a recently deceased SS officer. The SS officer had maps and a diary pinpointing its exact location. A second search of his residence in San Francisco revealed a hidden room containing gold bars of the Third Reich as well as property belonging to Jews executed in the death camps he was assigned to.

FBI agent Jeannie Loomis, a flawed but dedicated agent who believes that sometimes the ends justify the means, is attempting to remain below the radar of the corrupt administration at the top of the bureau. While on a much-deserved vacation with her boyfriend, Interpol agent Sean Delaney, she is contacted by the Idaho State Police asking for a consult regarding a recently found body dump—the result of an active serial killer. While Special Agent Jeannie Loomis and her partner, Ismail Flores, attend Super Bowl LIV in Florida, Ricky Pinheiro, Jeannie’s love interest, attends a high-level briefing at the NSA where he is informed that the possible location of missing Romanoff jewelry lies in the hands of a Russian oligarch living in San Francisco. In Dallas, the FBI closes in on a lone-wolf jihadist desiring another 9/11-type attack on the United States. It will take all of Loomis’ experience and skills to focus her team on the tasks at hand.

As the holiday season approaches. FBI Special Agent in Charge, Jeannie Loomis and her team are investigating a possible robbery of a Bank of America branch in San Francisco by decorated Vietnam War veterans trained as tunnel rats. As that investigation is developing, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the National Security Agency (NSA) have found information on a thumb-drive collected during the raid on Osama bin Laden’s compound in Pakistan which issues future fatwas in the event of his death.
