Many asthma patients (for which I am one), experience ongoing struggles, with frequent changes in their lung function. In addition to dealing with ongoing symptoms of breathing distress and worsening attacks of symptoms that can be severe or even life-threatening, we also have the added fear of not knowing where our asthmatic conditions will take us in the future, as we grow older. For listeners who are not asthma patients, I hope to convey to them an understanding of how our respiratory disorders can cause us genuine concerns and place a degree of limitations on our lives.

How much does thyroid disease affect the quality of life of those who suffer them? Is this really an important or worthwhile aspect to consider and address? In my belief as a Thyroid Patient Advocate being treated for autoimmune hypothyroidism and having corresponded with 1,000s of other patients with both hypothyroid and hyperthyroid conditions since 2003, I absolutely believe this to be an important aspect.

Hyperthyroid conditions account for about 20% of thyroid disease cases. The causes of an overactive thyroid gland can be varied but the most common cause is an autoimmune condition called Graves' disease. Complications can also occur with hyperthyroidism, including Thyroid Eye Disease, toxic diffuse goiter, hot nodules and myopathy of the muscles.

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) and Fibromyalgia (FMS) have 75% crossover symptom similarities, according to medical sources. These same sources, including the U.S. National Institutes of Health have found that both CFS and FMS patients present with cortisol levels (the major adrenal stress hormone) that are lower than that of the healthy population.

Mitral Valve Prolapse is a heart murmur found commonly in the general public and can cause heart palpitations, orthostatic hypotension (dizziness upon standing), other symptoms of an imbalanced nervous system and anxiety/panic symptoms. Medical Research studies have found it to be even more common in thyroid disease patients, especially those with autoimmune types of thyroid disorders. It is also believed to be about five times more common in females than in males.

Over 100 types of PN have been identified, according to medical research organizations. This demonstrates the fact that each person will experience the physical results of damaged or diseased nerves, differently than do their fellow patients. Some people feel more of the burning sensation while others may feel very strong tingling that literally feels as if a colony of ants are stinging them simultaneously on their feet and/or legs. Some PN patients are affected exclusively within their feet and they may experience not only tingling and burning sensations within them but they may also feel stabbing pains as well.

Within the chapters, I present some of the biggest questions that remain unanswered by the proposed Theory of Evolution. It might be said by proponents of the theory that it is “ridiculous” to question it because science has yielded all of the answers that are needed, to bring substantiation for everything that exists having come from an unguided, non-purposed, undirected impersonal process called “evolution”.

The "Complete Look" reference in the title, is not to imply that this is an extensive medical journal but rather that the audiobook contains all aspects of information on the subject that most laypersons would be seeking. Written by a recovered anxiety sufferer this audiobook gives a detailed look at anxiety symptoms, types of anxiety disorders, and the diagnosis and treatments available for them.

Hyperthyroidism is a term that simply means a person has developed an overactive thyroid gland. The metabolism of a person with hyperthyroidism is sped up from too much thyroid hormone in their system, so that everything in the body is running at overdrive. When this happens, the person will experience hyperthyroid symptoms. The vast majority of people with hyperthyroidism (95%) experience Graves' disease as the cause.

This is now my third short subject audiobook regarding a negative publishing experience I have had on the world wide web, that I was eventually able to glean positive things from. While I have written about other similar experiences in past audiobooks, this is my first time for relating this particular one. When content contributors recognize a downward trend in treatment from the administration of websites they enter into contract with, they should seriously consider taking some degree of action to overcome it, as an obstacle to their own growth as authors.

This audiobook is for listeners interested in natural and prescribed treatments for Adrenal Fatigue, specifically. This audiobook is compiled from articles I wrote on the subject of adrenal fatigue between the years 2005 and 2009 that contain information on conditions commonly related to the syndrome, with emphasis on treatments that are available, of both the prescribed and natural types. Included in the information is discussion on the most suspected causes for diminished adrenal gland function, resulting in symptoms.

Some Statistics including those by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) state that up to 25-million Americans suffer from asthma. That's approximately 1 in every 12 people or about 8.2 percent of the U.S. population. Asthma is more common in women than in men and is also more common among African Americans and Hispanics than in Caucasians.

This audiobook presentation on the biblical "Genesis Gap" study, also referred to as "The PreAdamic Creation", is presented in terms that can be understood by theologians and laypersons alike. It is a highly intriguing Bible subject - one of the most interesting contained within The Holy Scriptures. Why is the study important? Because it lends greatly to an understanding of what the evil spirits called "devils" are (the tempters of mankind) and where they came from.

Some authors on the other hand, are not willing to receive critical reviews of any kind, even those that are written in a straightforward, honest fashion but that include some strongly-dissatisfied language within them (something I have been falsely accused of complaining about). Anyone - and I do mean "anyone", who does not see that there literally are two extremes that exist within the author and reviewer arena, either are in purposeful denial or they simply aren't paying attention.

From the surface, it sounds very nice and like an event of spiritual peace among these two major denominations, that would be such a wonderful thing to see happen but is it even remotely realistic or achievable? Maybe the more important question would be this: Does God desire for such opposed religious practices to reach a point of saying "Every road leads to God.", when the Holy Scriptures do not at all endorse such a position?

According to reputable medical sources, there are more than 100 identified types of Peripheral Neuropathies (PN) that are experienced by between 15 and 30 million people in the U.S. and at least 130 million people, globally (statistics vary somewhat among sources).

Within the chapters of this audiobook, I address this emotional symptom of an underactive thyroid gland, including descriptions of how it manifests and how hypothyroid patients can deal with it and have it treated successfully to regain an improved quality of life. I will also include medical research study quotes, found on the U.S. National Insitutes of Health medical research information website (PubMed), which allows reprints for public education purposes.

I sincerely believe it is extremely important for legitimately disabled Americans to be cared for in a country that takes pride in helping those who are less-fortunate - not those who are looking for a free ride or for a chance to scam the system but who are truly and sincerely in need. There are policies practiced or enforced by the social security disability program for example that cause deserving applicants to be denied (the main subject of this audiobook) and in some cases, less-deserving or undeserving applicants to be accepted by the same benefits program.

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia affect millions of Americans and many more worldwide. While a single definitive cause for these syndromes has not been found, factors involved in triggering them include chronic stress, nutritional and hormone deficiencies, post viral illnesses and mildly insufficient adrenal function. The debilitating fatigue and joint/muscle pain caused by these very real illnesses, can seriously reduce the quality-of-life for those who experience them.
