From the Introduction: The hand of eternal progress is brushing the cobwebs from the corridors of time and is again revealing to the human race the mysteries of being. As there is "nothing new under the sun", the searchlight of Truth is bringing to light only what has been known to the few in all generations. The time has now come when the few must become the many. The whole world, from the least to the greatest, must know the Truth, so that man may understand the great laws that govern his life.

Every human being thrills at the thought of power. The thought means different things to different people. Jesus said, “Lo, I am with you always.” I am, that Christ Presence within me, frees me from all negative belief; guides, directs, and supplies my every need. This omnipresent, omnipotent power of God sustains and maintains his creation at all times in perfect rhythm and harmony.

The world is a thing of wonder and we should be filled with a greater sense of what is wonderful. But it so happens that in many respects we are still in a primitive stage of development, so that instead of a feeling of reverence and appreciation for the world about us, we inadequately interpret it in terms of the miraculous, the magical, and the mysterious.

Religious science is something intelligent to think about and something satisfying to believe in, as well as being something practical to use. Regardless of race, religious affiliation, education, or social status, one may find in it the ways and means to a fuller, richer life.

Our teaching has a very great deal of mysticism in it and it should be more completely developed with the realization that mysticism is not mystery just as intuition is not psychism. Half of the world and three-fourths of the world in our field, who should know better, mistake intuition for psychism and think if a person gets a hunch they must be very spiritual so most people mistake mysticism for mystery.
