Die drei haben Lust, mitzumachen, entwickeln aber schnell ihre ganz eigenen Ideen zur Gestaltung des Films. Bald hat Marina gar nichts mehr zu sagen.

Das ganze Dorf bereitet sich auf die großen jährlichen Wettkämpfe vor, als Yann einen verletzten Oktopus findet und nach Hause bringt. Marina kümmert sich liebevoll um das Tier. Dabei bemerkt sie bald, dass der Oktopus hellseherische Fähigkeiten hat. Er kann den Ausgang eines jeden Wettkampfs vorhersagen. Für sie ist das ein Spaß, aber Jack beginnt es für sich nutzen.
