Kalelana, a handsome, mighty and brave man successfully saved the daughter of King of Galuga from the clutches of an evil genie. The hope of marrying the beautiful princess, as a reward for his bravery, was within reach. But then, the King of Galuga broke his promise. He refused to let his daughter marry a man of unknown origin. That's when Kalelana's determination began. He needed to know his true identity, his birthplace, his parents, his ancestors, and his origins. In his quest to trace his lineage, fragments of past memories started to emerge.

After the loss of my wife, Michele, in April of 2020 (we were together for fifty-six years), my heartache overwhelmed me. While in a hospice therapy session, I learned one method of healing was to write poetry and to date each one to show the progression of your healing. These poems are a result of that.
