Steel City Apocalypse

A zoo keeps dangerous things inside. No one planned for the zombies that surround its fences. When the dead begin to rise across Pittsburgh, the city's zoo becomes a fortress—but it could just as easily become a deathtrap. The bridges are gridlocked. The rivers impassable. Neighborhoods fall block by block. Zookeeper Imogen faces an impossible choice: abandon the endangered Iberian lynxes she's devoted her career to saving, or risk everything to get them out.

They escaped the zoo. They escaped Pittsburgh. They thought the worst was behind them. Beneath the glittering stars of Pennsylvania's Dark Skies, people are few and zombies fewer. Imogen, Mike and the other survivors have found refuge in a remote lodge, but already that safety is cracking at the seams. Imogen can't shake the suspicion that a fellow survivor sabotaged their escape—costing her the lynxes she risked everything to save. Mike is barely holding it together after failing to save his family, and the group is splintering under the weight of clashing personalities.
