Forty-two-year-old Mia Thorne is not living her best life. After a disastrous career-and-relationship-ending event, she escapes New York City and moves to a sleepy river town in Pennsylvania, courtesy of a dead aunt she never knew. Aunt Hazel was the reclusive family nut, a self-proclaimed psychic. Of course, Mia’s dad always told her that she, too, had the gift, but after his death, her mother made sure to squelch the notion. No square pegs allowed!

Mia’s biggest nightmare is about to manifest—her mother is coming to town with her husband du jour in tow. Chief Tuck and Detective Fairfax have a potential PR nightmare on their hands when it turns out the victim is a promising young woman from a nearby boarding school.

Local businesses are booming as fans descend upon the quaint town to witness the reunion of the beloved cast. The excitement quickly dies when the star of the show chokes to death on the cherry of his signature cocktail. It seems like a tragic accident—until his ghost communicates otherwise to resident psychic Mia Thorne. Too bad he can’t identify the culprit.

Did someone manifest murder or was it simply a tragic glamping accident? Fall has arrived in the charming riverside town of Newberry, along with the thorn in Mia’s side—her formidable mother is in town to attend a manifestation retreat at a nearby glamping site. Mia reluctantly agrees to join her for mother-daughter bonding time and immediately regrets her decision when one of the retreat members is found dead.
