Fairlakes Monsters

WILLA: The evening shift that changed everything...

I was just supposed to take a corpse to the hospital morgue. Simple, right? My job at Fairlakes Community Hospital became anything but simple when the body mysteriously disappeared, only to be replaced with a monster from my worst nightmares. The dark, figure's golden eyes flared with intelligence... and something more when he stared at me. And then he fled the hospital, leaving me unharmed but full of fear... and questions. Werewolves weren't real. Were they? The cops insisted I saw a large canine. A wolf. The eight foot tall creature with black fur, lethal claws, and an elongated snout full of fangs was no mere wolf. Why the authorities brushing me off? The town of Fairlakes wasn't as peaceful as it seemed. And to think I'd come here to escape one monster, only to fall prey to another. A feral beast of raw power. When he caught me, his molten eyes said he wanted to devour me. Only not in the way I'd originally feared.

AIDAN: I couldn't remember much from the night I died in the Emergency Room, but I remembered HER. Once our eyes met, I was caught in a web of obsession. I'd been with women before, but never more than a short fling. This one? I'd catch her and I'd keep her. Wait. What was I thinking? I haven't been myself since the accident. Something terrifying simmered beneath my consciousness. Twisted and transformed my body to its will. I should've let Willa go before the monster within struck. But Raze wouldn't be denied. Let the chase commence!
