Parklife

An uplifting, genre-nonconforming fantasy adventure set in and under Liverpool. Parklife is the first story in a four-part series. Retired couple Amelia Carter and Paul Compton dont realise what theyve let themselves in for when they invite a film crew into their beautiful Victorian villa on the outskirts of Sefton Park, Liverpool. Their quiet life is transformed when a cursing filmset gaffer in pursuit of a wasp takes a sledgehammer to their cellar wall. A subterranean world of hidden rooms, tunnels, codes and clues is revealed, leading to exciting, enthralling and enlightening adventures. With their friend Reggie, Amelias son Spencer and Spencers partner Valerie, they embark on an epic quest beneath the city of Liverpool to discover more about mysterious Operation Alexandria. Their lives will be changed forever by what they find underground, and by new friendships forged. Features smoking, drinking, swearing and Yahtzee.
