Get to know Zigzag, Pam and the children in the Read English with Zigzag series. It’s designed for children who are just starting to learn English. The English is very simple but becomes more complex from book to book, to help your child learn essential vocabulary and grammar.

Book 1: Zigzag is a cat who thinks he's a tiger and is obsessed with spiders! How will he cope when Adam has to go to the doctor's and it's Zigzag's fault, when Poppy has a noisy birthday party, or when the family goes on holiday, leaving him alone in the house?

Book 2: Where does Poppy go every day? Zigzag wants to find out, so he leaves his comfortable home and discovers the outside world. Will he find what he's looking for? And will he get back home safely?

Book 3: Pam the dog prides herself on being braver and more intelligent than her friend Zigzag. So why can't she stop thinking about the white cat next door? And why does she need Zigzag's help? On the same eventful day, Adam starts primary school.
