Tails of the Midnight Kingdom

Welcome to the Midnight Kingdom. Behind closed doors and beneath the notice of their human, a Pride of cats has built a world entirely their own. The pantry is a treasury. The windowsills are watchtowers. The refrigerator is a throne. And every cat has a place in the Kingdom, whether they agree with that place or not.

Meet Zephyr, the Bengal queen convinced that order depends upon her personal supervision. Tokyo and Menace carry the legacy of the court that came before her. Lily watches quietly from the edges. Sabrina brings the instincts of the street. Eddie Money Paws brings opinions at considerable volume. And surrounding them is a sprawling Pride of schemers, observers, troublemakers, survivors, and family.

Through pantry raids, stolen salmon bites, emergency councils, moving-day indignities, veterinary rebellions, and stories of the cats who came before, the history and personalities of the Pride begin to unfold.

Tails of the Midnight Kingdom: The Plot in the Pantry & Other Tails is the beginning of the chronicles: a warm, funny, character-driven introduction to the cats, legends, loyalties, and everyday chaos of a Kingdom that has always existed just beyond human notice.

Because every house with cats has rules.

The humans simply don't know what they are.
