The Pooka Women's Club Cozy Friends Mystery Series

From 2026 IPPY Gold Medal Winning Author: Best Mystery.

A stolen pottery fortune. A sister who died trying to claim it. And a dysfunctional women's club that refuses to mind its own business.

After her husband's death, Biddy Bramley returns to Pooka, Indiana, hoping for a quiet new beginning. Instead, her estranged sister insists their family is owed a fortune—and dies before she can prove it. The rest of the town thinks Eileen was delusional. Biddy is beginning to wonder if she was right.

To dig into the town's secrets without raising eyebrows, Biddy starts a perfectly respectable women's club. To her surprise, the members include a street-smart hooker, a ditzy pub owner, an exhausted school mom, and Biddy's own disapproving daughter—and they are far more interested in solving a murder than organizing social events.

As the unlikely friends dig into Pooka's past, they uncover old grudges, dangerous secrets, and someone willing to kill to keep the fortune buried.
