Frank V. is the author of How Porn Addiction Destroyed My Life, a personal
account of more than twenty years of pornography addiction and his ongoing
recovery.

His story began at ten, when he found a torn magazine in a park. By his
early thirties, pornography had cost him relationships, sleep, and the
ability to be present with a partner. He still remembers the night he
looked at the clock after ten and a half hours at a screen and could not
look at himself in the mirror afterwards. He knew the cycle of promising
himself he would stop, and returning to it anyway.

Frank writes from lived experience, not as a doctor or therapist. He does
not claim to have every answer or to be finished with recovery. There are
still bad days. But the man in those opening pages is not the man writing
now.

Away from writing, Frank has spent his career in hospitality.

He wrote this book to offer what he wished he had found when he was
struggling: an honest account from someone who understood the secrecy,
the frustration, and the wish for a different life.
