I prefer to be left alone.
I spend my days at my cabin, working, and that’s the way I like it.
Until Vivian stumbles onto my land and collapses at my feet.
It takes me a second to realize that I’ve just found my fated mate, and another second to realize that she’s in danger.
So, I do the logical thing and bring her inside.
I call the Midnight Haven for help and watch over her while she’s treated.
She’s still in danger, though, and my bear and I will do anything to protect our mate.
Now that we’ve found her, we’ll never let her go.
We just need to figure out a way to tell Vivian that.

It took me weeks to come up with my escape plan and for the time to be right for me to enact it.
Things didn’t exactly go as planned, but at least I’m out, and that’s what’s most important.
Now I need to come up with another plan to put some distance between me and the cult.
Except, my savior seems to have other plans.
Logan says I am home, and I’m not going anywhere.
He’s determined to guard me and keep me safe.
I don’t know why being around him feels so right, but I know that I can’t give in to his demands.
I need to make a decision.
Do I run away and find somewhere far away, somewhere safe, or do I stay with my guard and trust that he’ll always keep me safe?
